• Workspace data like team ID, team name, and workspace settings.
• User data such as user IDs, display names, and profile details Slack provides (e.g., email, timezone).
• Channel and user group data needed to create and manage book clubs.
• Reaction events used to record reading check-ins.

Book club data

• Book club name, book title, optional book link, schedule, and status.
• Participant lists, reading progress, and check-in history.
• Message metadata for reminders (channel IDs and message timestamps).

Usage and diagnostic data

• Feature usage events (e.g., creating or joining a book club).
• Logs for security, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

Billing data

• Stripe customer and subscription identifiers.
• We do not store full payment card details; Stripe handles payment processing.

How we use information

• Provide and operate the Service inside your Slack workspace.
• Send reminders, check-ins, and updates related to book clubs.
• Manage subscriptions, trials, and billing status.
• Analyze product usage to improve features and reliability.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents and abuse.

How we share information

• With Slack and other services you authorize to enable core functionality.
• With service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, analytics, error monitoring, and billing processors.

Current providers may include Slack, Stripe (payments), PostHog (product analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring), depending on how the Service is configured.

• Workspace admins can uninstall the app from Slack to stop data collection.
